It may be necessary for us to collect personal information from you and information on company facts. The types of information collected by us will vary depending on your use of the Website, as described below.
Registration for startup or SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprise)
In order to register with the portal “startups4.eu” you need to complete the application on https://startups4.eu/startup-application including name, address, contact details, contact person (personal information) and, after the submission of your application, you will be requested to send us a three-minute video via e-mail. All company facts and personal information will be treated confidentially. Solely registered investors will have access to all company facts and personal information.
We have the right to use your contact details (e-mail, phone) to invite the contact persons representing business and science of your company to the face-to-face meeting of the investors. Moreover, the e-mail address will be used to invite you to special events, e.g. face-to-face meetings in Düsseldorf, Germany, or any other place with business angels and institutional investment organizations or State Development Banks respective partners of the EIT Health consortium. Moreover, the e-mail address will be used to send a note or mailing about new companies having registered on the website www.startups4.eu

Registration of an investor

In order to register as an investor you need to send an e-mail to info@bioclustermanagement.de and provide us with your personal data and an investor “history”. In addition we ask to submit at least two references and declare that you have the right to share this information with us.

Upon our acceptance of you as investor, we will send your login-data via e-mail. After login, you can edit your profile and change your password on https://startups4.eu/investor-profile . You can also choose your profile visibility (public or only shown to other investors).
You are asked to keep all personal information and company facts of startups confidential. In case you do not comply with this confidentiality of information obligation, we have the right to exclude you from the portal without further notice.

Newsletters:

To subscribe for newsletters and news updates you need to register with us by supplying your name and email address. To unsubscribe, email us at: yourstartup@startups4.eu

Events Registration:

We will invite you by e-mail to events especially regarding the topics biotech/life science/financing. In case we make use of a special registration form as a delegate for an event you must complete a registration form. During registration you are required to give your contact information (name, address, telephone number and email address). This information enables us to process your enrolment online and contact you about the events for which you have expressed interest. You may also elect to provide demographic information (such as company name and position). Provision of such information enables us to provide you with a more personalized background on our Website. If you elect to pay by credit card, you must provide financial information such as credit card number and expiration date. Credit card orders are processed securely with the use of SSL technology.
